I am thankful for living is this beautiful country, and at this very time where as a nation we can be so grateful to an amazing man who has been a leading example to this nation, not only in his heroic efforts of Everest, but in his humanity toward the people of Nepal and to the world in general.
I am thankful that today my flatmate did his chores around the house.
I am thankful for the stranger I met this evening on my walk in the park, and that we parted as friends.
I am thankful for my many wonderful friends and the way they always make me smile. |

I am very thankful for my wonderful life, which is really blessed.
I am very thankful for my loving and caring family.
I am thankful for being able to work from home.
I am thankful for all the technology in our house and office, which saves me so much time.
I am thankful for all the smiles on the faces of people I meet every day.
I am thankful that more and more people really appreciate nature and enjoy it as much as they can.
I am very thankful that I could follow the statefuneral-ceremony of Sir Edmund Hillary today on Television. I am very thankful for all the gratitude he was given by the different people. I am thankful for the immense contribution he made to humanity as a whole and especially to the Sherpa-people in Nepal, in promoting peace and equal rights for all races. I am so very thankful to have such a great man as a rolemodel for compassion, kindness and determination, who is truly an icon and a hero. |

I am thankful that we live in such a wonderful country where we have so much natural beauty to enjoy.
I am thankful for the life of Sir Edmund Hillary and the example he set in service to others.
I am thankful that we still have real heros and that they are recognised and appreciated so whole heartily by the NZ people especially the young, and the Sherpas whom he loved and who loved him.
I am thankful for the safe return of Lisa, John and Sohl from their holiday. And that they had such a wonderful time, taking in the 80th birthday of John's mother and the wedding of Viv a cousin to John and Lisa's best friend.
I am thankful for this site and the growing subtle effect it is having to write and read of so much thankfulness. |

I am thankful for the productive day today.
I am thankful that most of my staff work so hard for us, and that they do a good job.
I am thankful for all this amazing technology around me, like my laptop, ipod and LCD TV - it makes having my favourite music, movies and all the amazing resources of the internet so accessible.
I am thankful for my loving and supportive family. |

I am thankful for the great weekend I spent with a very dear friend and my family - it was wonderful to laugh that much!
I am also thankful for the rain, so that our grass can recover from the heat.
I am thankful for the unexpectedly productive day today.
I am thankful that I can get our jetski fixed tomorrow.
I am thankful that I can write this while sitting in bed with my darling wife.
I am thankful that 2008 has been a great year so far.
I am thankful for iTunes, so that I always have my favourite music at my fingertips.

I am thankful for this wonderful computer. When I think back to the times, as I was writing my first book by hand and than with a mechanic type writer this is bliss!
I am thankful for my car. When I think back to the time, as I drove my first car, hoping all the way, that it will make it.
I am thankful for my digital camera. When I think back to the times, when I have had only 12 pictures on the film and not enough money to buy 2 films. |
